Demo Save Transfer — Explained

TL;DR

Yes — your demo save carries into the full game, but only on the same platform, and it cannot be switched to Death Game Mode. Planning a Death Game run from turn one? Start fresh on launch day instead.

What carries over

• Character appearance (locked to the beta-test look in the demo)
• Mission progress (the demo's five missions)
• Inventory and equipment
• Skill unlocks (level cap 15, weapon proficiency cap 3 in the demo)

The Death Game Mode catch

A transferred demo save can't be used for Death Game Mode — the permadeath mode that deletes your save on death (and is restricted to save slots 2 and 3). If that's your goal, begin a brand-new save at launch.

Same-platform only: a PC demo save won't move to PS5/Xbox, and vice-versa.
